VS CPU GPU

cpugpu.jpg

A few days ago the company TransGaming launched a demo of an interesting product on the market ... the market, called Swiftshader that is able to implement DirectX 9 software and enduring Shader Model 2.0, which apparently means roughly that any of the games that support this technology could work earlier and "pulling CPU, which is responsible for several petecandear pixel shading, filtering of textures, lighting varies, and so on. On the other hand as we read in Ayudaprogramacion.net "is able to operate 50 times faster than with the games Directx 9", which is a huge WAT? and such. The Germans of PCGH.de make a trial with mixed results in games like Crysis and CoD4, so if you want to see how they are rendered via the CPU goes to the link.

therefore, as it is moving layers of Crysis in 800 x 600 with on everything under [the level of snow] to almost 5fps ... .. and that with a Quad Processor 3.8Ghz ... ... ... although it is soft and also said that ... q q is the fastest Dx9 For Microsoft software .. No hardware XDDD

    Interestingly, if
that can achieve something, I do not think so XD

  2. Man. Could alleviate some of the GPU also used to play games with no graphics pointers.

And if we add more cores, may accelerate further. And surely it is cheaper to make a processor with more cores that these ballots from 300 € we need to move anything today.

Man, as if something will come out cheaper. After Figure cards are nothing more than a mini-PC within the PC (motherboard with micropocesador-GPU and RAM-own)

    Fail!

What I said is that it is 50 times faster than the Reference rasterizer MS, which is the same thing that brings the DirectX SDK, a software renderer, but the latter is only for debugging.

Is something that is 50 times faster but will remain slow.

Estoooo ... if the evidence is going to 3-5 fps at 800 x 600 in low;). Come on, so if there are CPUs capable of moving it to 25 fps at that resolution and this terrible terrible quality, there integrated graphics that move better, and in SM 3.0 and more quality. In addition, it is only compatible with SM 2.0, which is not used in any "port" from the console and is only used in games that make the PC as a primary platform, not to lose basic PC that it can move. For when it runs at 25 fps, there will be no games possibly SM 2.0 : D And if Hybrid CPU / GPU in many of the computers carrefour, composed fairly or better than the present - if they survive -.
