A horse, or pomp, little of that news on a periodic reminder that sensational looking for people who have become criminals because of a video game, here we have a study done by competent people with diplomas and, as Miss Jane Barnett and his colleagues at the University of Middlesex (Omayed) which shows that online gaming is relaxing and does not create a disturbed. 292 people, both women and men between 12 to 86 years, have been the subject of the study, which contains interesting findings. The psychologists found that players were more calm or tired after 2 hours of online game (WoW), although much depended on the age, sex or personality. An idiot is an idiot playing online or at home. Of this there can be no doubt.

This is the finding of Miss Jane Barnett and her colleagues at Middlesex University. Their results will be presented at the British Psychological Society's Annual Conference in Dublin today, Wednesday 2 April 2008.

The Psychologists recruited 292 male and female gamers online, playing World of Warcraft The Game. The players, aged between 12 and 83 years, were asked to complete a questionnaire on anger, aggression and personality and then played The Game for two hours. After this time they were they were asked to complete the test again.

The Psychologists found overall the gamers were more likely to feel calm or tired after playing - but there were differences depending on sex, age and personality.

Miss Barnett said: "There were actually higher levels of relaxation before and after playing The Game as opposed to experiencing anger but this did very much depend on personality type.

"This will help us to develop a emotion and gaming questionnaire to help distinguish the type of gamer who is likely to transfer their online aggression into everyday life."
